Abstract:
The study aimed to identify the degree of public school teachers’ practices in compensating for educational losses from the point of view of their principals in Jenin District, and to investigate the differences between these perspectives according to the variables: gender, academic qualification, and years of service as a school principal, where the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach and the questionnaire tool to collect Data from a study sample consisting of (157) school principals, including (73) principals and (84) principals, during which (138) responses were retrieved, meaning (88%) from the study population. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences when The level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) in the degree of public school teachers’ practices in compensating for educational loss from the point of view of their principals in the Jenin District according to the variables: gender, academic qualification, years of service as a school principal. The study recommended the necessity of arousing students’ interest and strengthening them and working to take into account all aspects of the loss. They have psychological, social and behavioral education, focus on their cognitive construction, diversity in teaching methods and methods related to subsequent learning by the teacher, and work with the results of diagnostic tests, in treating and compensating for educational loss, and urging teachers to prepare quarterly plans to compensate for educational loss, with periodic follow-up from Before the concerned departments, and identifying the requirements of effective school administration to reduce educational loss among students.
