The primary objective of this study was to identify the challenges that teachers of learning disabilities face when diagnosing students with learning disabilities, as well as to identify proposals made by teachers of learning disabilities to address these challenges and develop the process of educational diagnosis for students with learning disabilities. The study used a mixed approach, "sequential design." Interpretive and the researcher used questionnaire and interview tools to collect data from members of the study population, which is comprised of 492 female teachers with learning difficulties in the city of Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study sample included 163 female instructors, accounting for 33.1% of the overall study population, The study revealed a set of findings, the most notable of which are: There is agreement among members of the study sample on the challenges facing teachers of learning difficulties when pedagogically diagnosing students with learning difficulties, where challenges related to diagnostic tools come in first place, followed by challenges related to the student, and in third place come challenges related to the student’s family, followed by challenges related to the teacher, and finally the challenges related to school leadership come as the least of the challenges facing teachers of learning disabilities when diagnosing students with learning disabilities. The findings also revealed a high level of agreement among survey participants about the proposals made by instructors of learning impairments to solve the issues they encounter. They encounter it when diagnosing students with learning disabilities.
