ADMINISTRATIVE EMPOWERMENT AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO IMPROVE JOB SATISFACTION AMONG SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS IN RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA

Abstract

The aim of the research identifies the theoretical foundations of administrative empowerment and job satisfaction in the literature and diagnoses the reality of administrative empowerment of female teachers in secondary schools in Riyadh of the Kingdom and to reach a proposed vision to achieve the administrative empowerment in order to enhance job satisfaction for secondary school teachers in Riyadh of Kingdom, the research used the descriptive approach relying on the questionnaire as a tool to collect information by samples on the reality of administrative empowerment and job satisfaction. The research sample reached to (1122) secondary school teachers in Riyadh at Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the research reached to many results, the most important of which are the following: The degree of job satisfaction is located at the level of "large" by study sample viewpoint by arithmetic average as (2.75), and that there is a positive and statistically significant correlation at level of significance (0.01) between administrative empowerment and job satisfaction with a correlation coefficient at (0.85), the degree of availability of the total dimensions of administrative empowerment at the level of "large" by an arithmetic average (2.81).
