Development of Admission Systems and University Education Institutions in Egypt in Light of the Experience of the United Kingdom

Abstract

The current research aims to try to develop admission systems in university
presenting the conceptual framework for developing by education institutions,
university admission systems, in terms of the concept of developing admission
systems, and also presenting some of the local challenges faced by admission
systems for university education in Egypt, based on several references and
literature, And determining the theoretical foundations of admission systems in
Egypt in terms of their current reality, management, and current admission
indicators, as well as identifying the United Kingdom’s experience in developing
admission systems for university education, through the Department of Education
in the United Kingdom, with a presentation of its educational ladder, then university
admission systems. In the United Kingdom and its steps and monitoring the low level
of admission systems in Egypt and their lack of several amendments and innovations
and relied on the descriptive approach because it suits the nature of the research,
and the research reached the development of several proposed mechanisms for
developing university admission systems in Egypt, the most important of which are:
reconsidering the current admission systems and developing them. To meet the
needs of students on the one hand, and the needs of the state and development
plans on the other hand, and the necessity of researching modern methods that
encourage the student to love education and make the high school exams, only one
of the steps of success and university acceptance, but the basis is his diligence and
.culture in addition to his inclinations and abilities
