Abstract

The research aimed to reveal the effectiveness of an e-learning environment based on levels of student interaction with the content in developing of information processing skills at biology course for first-grade secondary students by model of Mohamed Attia Khamis (2006) As well as the experimental approach with a design based on three experimental groups (pre-post), and the research tools were represented in a test to measure the information processing skills and the research sample consisted of (93) students from the first secondary grade at Abha First High School in Asir Region
As well as the experimental approach with a design based on three experimental groups (pre-post), and the research tools were represented in a test to measure the information processing skills where the number of students in the group that studied the level of simple interaction was (31) students, the group that studied the level of intermediate interaction was (32) students, and the group that studied the level of advanced interaction was (30) students.
The current research found an effectiveness of the levels of student interaction with the content in an e-learning environment in developing of information processing skills among first grade secondary students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia while there were differences between the three experimental groups in favor of the students of the simple interaction group about testing information processing skills.
