Abstract

This research aims to reveal the effect of Video Annotations (Individually, Collaborative) in a Flipped Classroom Environment and their effect on the development of critical thinking and among female teachers, teachers of third year students, specializing in the Arabic language. The research problem, hypotheses, methodology, tools, importance, and steps have been presented, and the developmental research method as defind by Elgazzar (2014) that is combined three integrated research methods: descriptive, systems development in terms of applying Mohammed Khamis ISD model (2007), and experimental research method. The research sample consisted of (60) students, The two experimental group design with pre and posttest was applied. The research experimental was conducted, data was collected and processed with the suitable statical methods through using (SPSS) Version 20. The research results revealed that there was effectiveness of both video Annotations in the Flipped classroom environment in developing critical thinking among students of the third year, majoring in Arabic language, Girls' College, Ain Shams University and there was no statistically significant difference between the two types of video annotations on critical thinking.
