Abstract

The research aimed to identify the role of smart management through its dimensions (digital transformation and artificial intelligence) in achieving the quality of the educational process in secondary schools. It also aimed to demonstrate the role of smart management through its dimensions in achieving excellence in secondary schools, and to clarify the challenges facing smart management in achieving the quality of the educational process in secondary schools. It also aimed to limit the challenges facing smart management in achieving excellence in the educational process in secondary schools. The research adopted the descriptive approach due to its suitability to the nature of the research and reached a set of recommendations and procedural proposals. The research showed that smart management is the most appropriate administrative style for secondary schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, due to its dimensions and characteristics necessary for the school’s success and academic excellence. The research also showed the importance of shifting towards smart management and the necessity of developing management systems, practices and administrative processes in secondary schools. The recommendations emphasized the necessity of developing management, its systems and practices and transforming them into smart management to face the major challenges facing them, as the application of smart management in secondary schools works to achieve the quality of schoolwork life. Among the research recommendations and proposals is the necessity of distributing brochures and posters that show the role of smart management in improving the quality of educational services in secondary schools.
