Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of Applied Behavior Analysis Strategies An approach to improve reading comprehension in Arabic language for children with specific learning disorder in the primary stage, and to reveal the extent of its continued effectiveness. a sample was consisted of (12) children with specific learning disorder in the primary stage, They were divided into (2) groups, an experimental group of (6) children and a control group of (6) children. The study tools were: the criteria of the fifth revised version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for the diagnosis of specific learning disorder, The Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale, fifth version, prepared by "Galle Roid" (2003), translated and standardized by "Mahmoud Abu El-Nile" (2011), to measure cognitive mental abilities. Severe neurological screening scale for children with specific learning disorderprepared by "Mutti., et al." (1978), translated and standardized by "Abdul Wahab Muhammad Kamil" (2012), Reading Comprehension in Arabic scale for children with specific learning disorder,(Prepared by the researcher),the program based on (ABA) Strategies prepared by the researcher, the results of the study showed the effectiveness of the program according to(ABA) strategies in improving reading comprehension for children with specific learning disorder in the primary stage, with its effectiveness continuing as shown in the followup measurement After a month.
