Providing a proposed and comprehensive vision aimed at developing planning skills effectively and accurately among school principals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This vision is based on the foundations and standards of self-assessment followed in distinguished educational institutions that are characterized by excellence and innovation in the field of education. These standards are not just traditional guidelines, but rather the results of field studies and research that highlight the importance of self-assessment as a means of improving performance and achieving the desired educational goals. The study relied in its design and implementation on the descriptive analytical approach, as various theoretical literature related to this vital and important field was extrapolated, which gives the study scientific depth and helps in enhancing its results. The main objective of this research is to identify the best practices that can contribute significantly to enhancing planning skills among trainers and principals, and thus improving the level of administrative performance in schools, which in turn leads to improving the educational environment in a comprehensive manner.
