Abstract

The current research aims to apply the strategic vigilance approach as a modern framework that contributes to the development of educational institution management. This is achieved by analyzing the theoretical foundations of strategic vigilance and exploring its applicability in educational institution environments. The research addresses the origins and development of the concept of strategic vigilance across various historical stages, in addition to accurately defining its concept and reviewing its objectives and importance in the administrative and educational context. It also highlights the key characteristics of strategic vigilance, which make it an effective tool in supporting decision-making processes and responding to rapid environmental changes. The research also discusses the dimensions of strategic vigilance leadership, the stages of strategic vigilance, and the requirements for its application. The research relied on a descriptive and analytical approach, given its suitability for the nature of the study. Data was collected and analyzed through a review of previous literature related to strategic vigilance and educational management, which was appropriate for the nature of the research. The research proposed a vision for developing educational institution management in light of the strategic vigilance approach, integrating strategic vigilance into strategic planning, decision-making, and human resource management practices. This aims to enhance educational institutions' ability to adapt to changes and achieve higher levels of effectiveness and efficiency.
