Abstract:
The research aimed to develop the digital competencies of school principals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of the requirements of artificial intelligence, and the research relied on the descriptive approach in order to analyze the basic concepts and identify the digital skills required to enhance the capabilities of school leaders, and define the theoretical foundations of artificial intelligence in terms of concept, its advantages, conditions and standards of use, and its applications in the field of education and its pivotal role in improving the quality of educational administration. The results showed that the development of digital competencies for school principals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia requires the availability of many basic requirements, including: Developing basic digital skills, providing customized artificial intelligence systems, training and professional development, advanced technical infrastructure, integrating artificial intelligence into strategic planning, supporting cultural transformation, and developing digital competencies for school principals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia requires a set of comprehensive and systematic measures to enable them to use modern technology efficiently and lead digital transformations, developing policies and regulations that encourage the adoption of digital solutions and artificial intelligence in school operations, preparing specialized training programs that focus On digital skills and technological leadership, providing an advanced technical infrastructure that includes modern devices and high-efficiency Internet networks, and providing schools with modern computers and technologies that support artificial intelligence applications.
