Abstract

Sufi knowledge is considered the most important thing that distinguishes Sufi thought according to Nabulsi and other Sufis. It is the highest and most honorable knowledge that Sufism aspires to, as it represents the highest goal for every Sufi who seeks the love of God. For them, knowledge is a taste and it is a special experience that comes as a result of the seeker’s struggles for himself and his achievement of moral perfection,. The servant has a spiritual connection with his Lord; It is an overflow of divine divine lights into the heart of the Sufi, and thus this goal was linked to the Sufis’ analysis of the nature of this knowledge, its subject matter, its method, its purpose, and the degree of certainty in it. The knower achieved by heartfelt gustatory knowledge bears witness to the truth with his heart, so the fruits of that knowledge appear in his morals and actions. Its subject is God Almighty and His attributes, and its means is the heart, not the mind or the senses. The highest form of happiness according to Sufis is the happiness resulting from a person’s perfect knowledge of God Almighty, a heartfelt knowledge, as the Sufi experience brings reassurance and tranquility to its owners. Happiness and tranquility lie in their awareness of Him. For the truth and reason for their existence, which is the love of God, His worship, and the certain knowledge that is not touched upon by any doubt about Him, the Almighty.
