The current study aimed to reveal the role of Saudi folk tales in developing national belonging among kindergarten children, and to reveal whether there were statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample members attributed to the variables (experience and educational qualification). To achieve the study objectives, the researcher used the descriptive (survey) method, and relied on the questionnaire tool to collect data. The study community consisted of kindergarten teachers in Shaqra city, numbering (34) teachers. The study reached several results, the most important of which is that there is strong agreement among the study members on a number of requirements for practicing folk tales among teachers in developing national belonging among kindergarten children. There is also agreement among the study members on the role of folk tales among teachers in developing national belonging among kindergarten children. The results also showed that there are no statistically significant differences between the average responses of the study members regarding (the requirements for practicing folk tales among teachers in developing national belonging among kindergarten children - the reality of practicing folk tales among teachers in developing national belonging among kindergarten children) according to the variable of years of experience. In light of the results reached by the study, it presented several recommendations, the most important of which is material and moral motivation for kindergarten teachers who use folk tales; to enhance national belonging among kindergarten children.
