Requirements for Developing the Administrative Performance of Private School Principals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabic Based on the Standards of the European Foundation for Quality Management Excellence Model

Abstract

The research aims to identify the theoretical foundations for enhancing administrative performance in educational institutions, clarify the features of the European Excellence Model and its relevance to the administrative performance of private school principals in Saudi Arabia, examine the current state of administrative performance in private schools, and outline the necessities for its development. Using a descriptive methodology, To identify the theoretical foundations of performance development and shed light on the European model for developing administrative performance in Saudi private education schools in order to reach the requirements for developing administrative performance in these schools.the study identified a set of key requirements for improving administrative performance in private schools, based on the European model. These requirements include organizational, human, skill-based, technological, administrative, and financial aspects.Which is represented in the ability to apply rules and laws and the actual use of tools and methods of change and achieving development goals in schools, developing human resources and investing their intellectual and creative energies.The study suggests future research on selecting appropriate management styles for private schools and involving teachers and administrators in decisions related to development and improvement The study recommends spreading the culture of excellence as an entry point for developing administrative performance in private schools. And creating an encouraging and supportive culture for excellence by supporting senior leadership, resisting the culture of change, and moving towards a culture of excellence, and the necessity of qualifying human resources
