Abstract

The current research aims to present the conceptual framework of strategic
entrepreneurship in terms of presenting the concept of strategic entrepreneurship,
its importance, objectives and levels, then analyzing the dimensions of strategic
entrepreneurship by presenting its elements, and its five dimensions adopted by the
research. As well as addressing the implementing of strategic entrepreneurship by
presenting the requirements of strategic entrepreneurship and then the importance
of its implementation, and the mechanisms for developing the performance of
leaders in higher education institutions in light of strategic entrepreneurship
The descriptive approach was used for its suitability to the nature of the research.
The research reached a set of results, the most prominent of which is that the
strategic entrepreneurship approach is considered an effective approach in
developing the performance of leaders, and that its application requires taking into
account all its dimensions, and is achieved by providing requirements and applying
mechanisms that help in its success. In light of these results, the research reached
recommendations, the most important of which are: raising awareness of the
concept and importance of strategic entrepreneurship for higher education
institutions by providing training programs for leaders in them, developing work
systems and procedures to enable the activation of the dimensions of strategic
entrepreneurship, and providing the requirements for implementing strategic
entrepreneurship such as supporting senior management, providing advanced
.supplies and technologies, and attracting those with entrepreneurial capabilities
