Abstract

This study aims to analyze the patterns of land use in Dokki district and study the changes in the period between the years 1995 - 2017. the study showed unused land and lands used between (1995 - 2017), their area and the rate of change in them. The study dealt with the spatial analysis of land use patterns, and the types of uses of the land were addressed, which are" commercial - residential - mixed ) commercial residential - industrial residential - educational residential - religious residential - Residential, health(, security, educational, governmental, religious, roads, railways, health, industrial, entertainment, cultural, political, service, public utilities" and clarifying the area of each use and its percentage of the total area of the Dokki section in general, then clarifying the use at the level of sheikhs in the section and its percentage Of the total area of the sheikha and the arrangement of the sheikhs according to their occupancy rate. The study identified the most important reasons that influenced the spread of a particular use in any part of the Dokki district.
