Private and foreign schools and their role in instilling educational values among primary school students (Riyadh as an example)

The study aimed to know the role of private and foreign schools in instilling educational values among primary school students. The researcher used the (descriptive-analytical) approach in his study, as the research addressed the definition of the primary stage, its objectives, importance and characteristics, as well as the characteristics of the development of primary stage students and their needs, and the relationship of this to instilling values. The study also addressed the definition of educational values, their characteristics and importance, the role of the school and school administration in instilling moral values, and knowing the types of values that are appropriate for primary school students. It touched on the characteristics of the teacher and his role in instilling values, effective methods in teaching values, as well as how to practically apply values. The study produced a set of results, the most important of which were: defining the stages of instilling values - developing a proposed practical model for instilling values - making a time plan for studying values. The most important recommendations were: The Ministry of Education should oblige private and foreign schools to activate the student activities guide for developing moral values - create a printed book on moral values that includes an integrated curriculum like the rest of the curriculum - schools train and qualify teachers - provide a comprehensive library containing everything related to Study of values.
