Abstract

This research was entitled “Preventing society from crime in Surat An-Nisa’ and Al-Ma’idah,” and thus this research explained that Islamic law combated crime before it occurred with preventive means that prevent it from occurring in the first place, and then combated it after it occurred with punishment and reprimand.
Moreover, these punishments were enacted to preserve the five interests that there was consensus on the necessity of preserving them, which are: religion, self, mind, offspring, and money. Sharia law decided punishments for hudud and retaliation and tightened the punishment therein. To memorize these five colleges.
These penalties have also been legalized; To maintain security and stability in society.
If these punishments are applied, they will have many positive effects on society. Among them are that people feel safe regarding themselves, their money, and their honor, security is established, and the conditions of individuals within society are regulated. Among their effects are: rebuking the offender for the crimes he has committed, and deterring the rest from committing immoral acts. As it came; So that the application does not afflict them like what happened to himPunishment against him also has an important and great effect, which is to extinguish the victim’s anger, so he does not seek revenge, and also: society is saved from chaos, corruption, and destruction by taking it into the hands of the perpetrators of crimes.
