Abstract

Jobs, with all the meaning of the word, have been an important aspect of daily life throughout the world through historical ages. Because jobs are an important part of people's lives, Like the Arameans, many jobs and professions in ancient iraq, especially the work of the Arameans,including the jobs of ,scribe,sukkal,and the function of abārkku, Provincial governors.As a result of the long-term settlement undertaken by the Assyrian kings towards the displaced Arameans, these displaced people were used in various works for the benefit of the Assyrian Kingdom, including agricultural work, construction, reconstruction, and digging irrigation canals, in addition to joining the elements of the Assyrian army. Over time, the management of Assyrian institutions gradually shifted to the newly arrived immigrants, especially the Arameans, as they were able to manage the joints of many of the Assyrian state institutions, whether military or civil societal institutions, in which they worked as managers and organizers.
