Abstract

This research aims to determine the dimensions of the role played by digital transformation in developing journalistic content in national press institutions, by revealing the developments that occurred in the production and presentation of content at Al-Ahram Foundation after implementing digital transformation, while highlighting the challenges and difficulties it faced. The study relied on the media survey approach by applying the questionnaire to a deliberate sample of (150) individuals from journalists working at Al-Ahram Foundation, in addition to an interview conducted with (21) individuals working in digital and paper publications affiliated with Al-Ahram Foundation. The study also relied on the concepts and issues of the theory of digital transformation. organizational theory, the unified theory of technology acceptance and use; A theoretical framework for the study. The results of the field study revealed that the application of digital transformation at Al-Ahram Foundation contributed significantly to the development of methods and mechanisms for producing journalistic content and contributed to the development of methods and techniques for displaying journalistic content published on Al-Ahram digital platforms. The results of the field study showed that although Al-Ahram Foundation suffers from challenges and difficulties However, the organization's journalists are always trying to adapt to the available capabilities to advance Al-Ahram Foundation, especially considering the decline of print journalism and the rapid progress in digital journalism.
