Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of electronic conceptual maps in acquiring grammatical concepts among the third intermediate grade students. The study used the semi-experimental approach. The study was applied to a sample of (52) female students from the third intermediate grade, who were divided into two groups, The study tool was an achievement test in grammatical concepts prepared by the researcher. The results revealed the effectiveness of electronic conceptual maps in acquiring the concepts of grammar rules for the third intermediate grade students in Al-Kharj Governorate, where the size of the ETA square was (0.584) in a very large way. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05 ≥ α) between the mean scores of the students of the experimental group (which was studied according to the electronic conceptual mapping strategy) and the control group (which was studied in the usual way) in the post application of the achievement test in grammatical concepts. in favor of the experimental group. In the light of these results, the study recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which is urging curriculum designers to adopt supportive curricula based on the constructivist theory of learning from electronic conceptual maps that support the development of grammatical concepts learning skills for all students in general education stages.
