Authentic leadership and its relationship to organizational commitment among female teachers at general education schools in Khamis Mushait

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the relationship of authentic leadership and its dimensions to organizational commitment among female teachers of public education schools in Khamis Mushait. The research used the descriptive, correlational approach and the questionnaire as a research tool. It was applied to a sample of (353) female teachers in public education schools in Khamis Mushait. The research reached several results, including: The responses of the research sample members regarding the reality of applying the dimension of self-awareness, the transparency of relationships, the ethical perspective dimension, and the balanced processing of information for authentic leadership among female teachers of public education schools in Khamis Mushait came with a “large” degree of approval. The responses of the sample members came with a “large” degree of approval. The research on the reality of (the emotional dimension, the continuity dimension, and the moral dimension of organizational commitment) among female teachers of public education schools in Khamis Mushait came with a “large” degree of approval. The correlation coefficients between the dimensions of authentic leadership and organizational commitment in its three dimensions among female teachers of public education schools in Khamis Mushait were all positive, high, and statistically significant. . In light of the results reached by the research, a number of Recommendations, including: involving teachers in decisions that have a direct impact on their professional and social lives, Justice, increasing their loyalty to their work, and their aspiration for continuous career development.
