Abstract

the aim of the research was to find out the role of the headmistresses of private general education schools in enhancing the job retention of female teachers in Khamis Mushatt governorate, the research used the survey descriptive method, and the questionnaire as a research tool applied to a sample of the headmistresses of private general education schools in Khamis Mushatt, which amounted to (259) members, and the research resulted in a number of results, including: the members of the research sample in total(the role of the headmistresses of private general education schools in enhancing the job retention of female teachers in Khamis Mushatt governorate) gave a degree of approval (large) and the responses of the research sample next: the approval of the research sample came on the first axis: The approval of the research sample came on the second axis: the technical role of the principals of the public education schools in Khamis Mushatt to a large degree, and the approval of the research sample came on the third axis: The role of the work environment for the headmistresses of public education schools in Khamis Mushatt to a (significant) degree,
In light of the results of the research, a number of recommendations can be made, developing a development plan for female teachers annually to develop them professionally and in line with the development of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Vision 2030.
