Abstract

ABSTRACT
Post-colonial theory is one of the most important things that emerged in the Western arena in the fifties of the twentieth century ; It is one of the most important new literary and critical references; Which includes many fields of knowledge that interlock with it; This theory attempted to trace the relationship between power and culture ; By tracing the impact of the colonial process carried out by the West towards the countries of the Third World ; By unmasking Western ideologies and undermining their arguments, like it the deconstructive methodology; which Jacques Derrida came up with it in order to denudation Western culture; and a result of the importance of this theory which is centered around neo-colonialism; I chose the theme: Postcolonial theory, its definition, foundations and active leaders who were considered as central figures; And most importantly in establishing the foundations of the theory; And whose ideas took shape at the end of the seventies of the last century.
