The effectiveness of the animated series (Animal Stories in Qur’an) in developing of some religious values among kindergarten children

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the animated series (Animal Stories in Qur’an) in developing of some religious values among kindergarten children and the researcher followed the one-group as experimental approach. The study sample consisted of (30) boys and girls at the age (4-5) years old, the research was applied in the first semester of the academic year (2022/2023 AD); The research used the following tools: a list of religious values suitable for a kindergarten child (prepared by the researcher), a scale of religious values for a kindergarten child (prepared by the researcher) and after applying the tools of the study, the results of the pre, post and follow-up measurement were analyzed by using the appropriate statistical methods Then the following results were reached: There are statistically significant differences at level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of the study sample children at pre and post measurement on the scale of religious values in favor of the post measurement. There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of children study sample in the post and follow-up measurement on the scale of religious values after applying the program. The results of the study revealed the effectiveness of the animated series (Animal Stories in Qur’an) in developing of some religious values among kindergarten children.
