Abstract

This paper focuses on identifying the degree to which Saudi female kindergarten teachers possess and employ technological skills in teaching in Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia. The present study used the prescriptive curriculum and the identification as a research tool consisting of 35 paragraphs spread over two axes, namely, the axis of technological waste and the hub of its employment. The sample of the study consisted of 37 female teachers. The results revealed that the overall average degree of female kindergarten teachers' possession of technological skills in teaching in Al-Kharj was 4.08, with a standard deviation (0.678), and with a significant degree of ownership, and that there were no differences in kindergarten teachers' degree of possession of technological skills in teaching attributable to the following variables: (Scientific qualification, number of years of experience, number of training courses in e-education, school type). In light of these findings, the researcher recommended several recommendations: encouraging female teachers to use technology in education which can be achieved through the establishment of joint working groups or training courses and reducing tasks and responsibilities to enable them to attend.
