There have been numerous studies in recent times dealing with the analysis of the causes and causes of the deterioration of environmental systems, which resulted in the so-called global warming phenomenon, which prompted the superpowers to make a lot of scientific effort to prevent the occurrence of unforeseen consequences, but on the other hand, there was a state of disregard for the role of human sciences Towards confronting the flood of tremendous scientific and technological development that strengthened the tyranny of the culture of infinite desire towards possession, which prompted some contemporary philosophers of science such as Robert Frodman to the need for a field that combines science and society in one crucible in order to achieve sustainability, and geology is the most appropriate science that combines what It is scientific and human because it possesses vocabulary, facts and curricula that make it qualified for that, especially since the current academic framework needs to be restructured in order to achieve the goal of making philosophy a living, and this will only be achieved through a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of what was in the past and what is present, especially in the presence of challenges Serious environmental.
