The effect of developing spiritual intelligence on improving the self-efficacy of middle school students

Abstract

The current research aims to develop the degree of spiritual intelligence in preparatory school pupils to improve self-efficacy through a training program. Research sample consisted of a psychometric character verification group of 100 pupils, a descriptive research group and 204 pupils, and 2 experimental research groups of 50 pupils divided into two groups. Experimental group of 25 pupils and a control group of 25 pupils, all preparatory pupils in the second preparatory grade of government schools in the 10th of Ramadan Education Department in Orientale Province for the academic year (2022-2023). Research tools consisted of a spiritual intelligence scale, a self-efficiency scale, and a training program to develop spiritual intelligence in improving self -efficiency among preparatory students (preparation of female researchers). Experimental methodologies were used. The results of the research found There are statistically significant differences between the average degrees of the experimental group and the average degrees of members of the control group on the scale of spiritual intelligence and self -efficacy after applying the training program in favor of the experimental group. There are statistically significant differences between the average degrees of the experimental group in the tribal and dimension measurements on the scale of spiritual intelligence and self -efficacy in favor of the postgraduate measurement after the application of the training program. The researchers recommended that attention should be paid to psychosocial services within preparatory schools and that their role in the provision of counselling services should be activated, especially regarding spiritual intelligence and self-efficiency.
