Parental love is one of the determinants of forgiveness among Kuwait University students

Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the variance in pardon and parental love by varying demographic variables: (gender, age, academic level) among Kuwait University students, and to know the extent to which parental love contributes to predicting pardon. The study sample consisted of (204) students from Kuwait University, applied to them Two scales: the first: the pardon scale, the second: the parental love scale (prepared by researchers), and the results concluded: there are no statistically significant differences between the gender variable in the parental love scale, and there are no statistically significant differences between the level of education (university / postgraduate studies). In parental love, there were statistically significant differences between middle ages (25-30) and younger ages (less than 25 years) towards middle ages (25-30) in the (understanding) component, while the (equality) component was in the direction of Ages (less than 25) years, and the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the gender variable in the amnesty scale, and there were no statistically significant differences between the educational level (university / postgraduate studies) in the components (emotional response / cognitive response), and the presence of differences Statistically significant in the component (behavioral response) direction of pain Level of education (postgraduate studies), and the results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the older ages (more than 30 years) and the younger ages (less than 25 years) towards the larger ages in the pardon scale, and that forgiveness can be predicted for university students through parental love.
