Abstract

This study is going to analyze the technique of autofiction used by "Pincio" in the novel "Love from Another World" subject of study. The writer narrates the reality of real characters such as the protagonist "Kurt Cobain" (the leader of the rock band Nirvana) through his fictional point of view. This combination of reality and fantasy leads to great confusion for the reader, who may not like some of the protagonist behavior, but at the same time he feels sympathy for him.
The importance of this study lies in addressing personalities inspired by real characters such as "Kurt Cobain". The study first tried to shed light on the real life of "Kurt Cobain". Secondly, the fictional life of Kurt Cobain is told through the vision of the fictional friend, the protagonist "Homer Buddha Alienson", a character also inspired by the imagination of the writer "Pincio". Then the study deals with the fictional parallel world between "Kurt Cobain" and "Homer Alienson”.
In the conclusion, after our analysis, it turns out that Kurt Cobain's real or imaginary world is in a permanent conflict as a result of psychological disorders since childhood due to family problems, the most important of which is the separation of parents (divorce). Which led to their loss of confidence in others, causing them to feel alienated since childhood, which made them live trapped in a fantasy world.
