Requirements to achieve a competitive advantage in the Technical Industrial School in Egypt in the light of Germany's experience

Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the theoretical foundations of competitive advantage, reveal the current reality of industrial technical schools in Egypt, determine the requirements to achieve Competitive Advantage for industrial technical schools in Egypt, and develop a proposed vision to achieve competitiveness for industrial technical schools in Egypt. The study used the descriptive approach, conducting interviews, and included the experience of Germany The questionnaire was used by applying it to a sample of managers and teachers of technical industrial schools in Egypt, which amounted to (446) individuals .
The results of the study revealed some of the obstacles facing industrial technical schools in Egypt, most notably the weakness of adopting competitive strategies that achieve a better investment of the available resources, and the rejection of some of the modern trends towards competitiveness and the prevailing belief that industrial technical education is linked to marginalized and poor groups, and the lack of attention directed to identifying the needs of the beneficiaries. The study concluded by developing a proposed vision for the requirements of achieving competitiveness for technical and industrial schools in Egypt .
