Abstract

The current research sought to find out the requirements for applying the hybrid learning in the Egyptian universities through identifying the theoretical bases of hybrid learning in terms of concept, elements and patterns of hybrid education, as well as justifications for using the hybrid learning in the Egyptian universities, identifying the requirements of hybrid learning in the Egyptian universities, and the difficulties which may face its applying in the Egyptian universities. The current research used the descriptive approach to study the problem for its relevance to the nature of the study, and in light of what was reviewed of theoretical framework and what was indicated by the findings of previous studies that the educational reality in the Egyptian societies indicates that hybrid learning was not firmly established due to the difficulty of abandoning the traditional education and the lack of full utilization of technology and its tools, as the hybrid learning has become the best response and increases the learning opportunities. In light of these results, the research reached a cluster of recommendations and procedural proposals necessary to implement the hybrid learning in the Egyptian universities, including: develop a strategic plan for cooperation and coordination at the level of university education leaders and officials, which contributes to the development of a clear and specific educational policy and a well-studied and clear procedural plan for applying the hybrid education; and establish regulatory regulations on a regular basis, which contributes to the success of applying the hybrid learning in the Egyptian universities.
