Abstract:
The research aims to activate social responsibility in the faculties of industrial education in Egypt in the light of some models of international colleges by identifying the conceptual framework of social responsibility in university institutions, the societal role of industrial education colleges, and the most important difficulties that hinder them, and monitoring models of technical technical colleges represented in the colleges of applied arts and technology in Canada New York City College of Technology in the United States of America, and the research relied on the descriptive approach for its relevance to the nature of the research, and came up with several proposals, the most important of which are: that the process of developing programs in colleges should be conducted in the form of a periodic review in a consultative framework with a group of stakeholders from industry and professional associations, And secondary schools, faculty members, students and graduates, and that there should be an effective partnership with the industry sector through applied research projects that help companies to become more efficient, thus nurturing economic growth and achieving excellent returns on government investments, and students are involved in multidisciplinary projects in cooperation with members Faculty in the field of sustainability on the university campus
