Abstract

This study was conducted in order to identify of cognitive intervention in the activation of brain regions responsible for dyslexia in primary school students. Study simple included (5) students of primary school with dyslexia, (3 male, 2 female); range in age between (8-11) years. The researcher used the following tools to verify the hypotheses of the study Quick neurological screening test to sort students with learning difficulties, prepared by ( Mustafa, 2005) , The Diagnostic Test of Dyslexia, prepared by (Gelgel, 2011), The Scale of Cognitive Assessment System (CAS) , prepared by (El-Deeb, & Al. Aasar, 2001), Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale - Fifth Edition by (Abu Elneel et al., 2011), Functions of functional magnetic resonance imaging, which is divided into four tasks (by the researcher):Tasks for measuring working memory , Functional magnetic resonance imaging (FMRI) under the supervision of a specialist, A training program to improve the cognitive processes of primary school students with dyslexia (prepared by the researcher).The study found the effectiveness of cognitive intervention in the activation of brain regions responsible for dyslexia in primary school students.
