Stress Related to Covid 19 and Its Relationship to Some Psychological Problems of Health Care Providers.

Abstract

-This study aims to reveal the relationship between stresses related to COVID-19 and some psychological problems (anxiety and depression) among health care providers as well, it relied on the comparative descriptive approach because it is appropriate for the objectives and hypotheses of the study, and the sample consisted of (60) individuals from health service providers in hospitals in Cairo,their ages ranged from(25:55)years old prepared by(Taylor et al., 2020), Translation of the researcher declared the psychological stress scale for nurses working in the government sector,prepared by(Mohamed AboAl-farag Abo Al-hussien) in addition to Taylor scale of anxiety (prepared by Janet Taylor, 1953), translated by Magada Al-shohary and others, and beck scale of depression prepared by (dr.Aaron beck 1961), translated by Abdel-Sattar Ibrahim, the research concluded that theres are no statistical significant differences at level of stress related to covid 19 between physicians and nurses as health care providers, and there are no statistical significant differences according to gender (male and females), and the results of the research indicated that there is a statistical significant correlation between stress associated with COVID-19 and anxiety among healthcare providers.
