Abstract

Abstract: This research was titled: (Evidences for the Existence of God and His Attributes in the Thought of Mustafa Mahmoud), and its importance was to clarify the opinion and thought of Mustafa Mahmoud about one of the most important philosophical issues, which is to prove the existence and attributes of God Almighty and the various evidence for this. This issue has received the attention of many philosophers and thinkers throughout the ages, as it is the first and most important requirement in human history since the beginning of creation. The need to believe in a Creator and to know His attributes is just as necessary as the need for water and air. Therefore, the existence of God and the evidence for it have occupied the minds of thinkers, and in dealing with this matter by Mustafa Mahmoud as one of the contemporary thinkers, we try to answer several questions, most notably, what are the motives that prompted Mustafa Mahmoud to address this topic especially as it may seem settled in human thought? How is it handled? What is different content from his predecessors? We address the answer to these questions in the light of the various approaches that Mustafa Mahmoud relied on, especially the divine approach established by God Almighty, which is the Noble Qur’an.
