Implementing a methodology in building a specialized grammatical dictionary using corpus linguistics

The specialized dictionary is of great importance because it targets specific topics in a specialized scientific field، therefore the study of the steps of building a specialized grammatical dictionary using glossaries and corpus linguistics has been useful in seeking to put a brick in the edifice of modern lexical studies.
The study seeks to prove the hypothesis that a specialized dictionary of grammatical terminology can be built using the (ICA) corpus linguistics and that of King Abdul-Aziz City for Science and Technology، the (Kacst) corpus’ linguistics glossaries.
The research uses corpus linguistics، as well as a descriptive analytical methodology with regard to theoretical concepts of corpus and specialized dictionaries، and a procedural methodology in the study of ways to build a specialized dictionary based on the corpus as a main source for the study as a whole.
The research contains a preamble and two study points:
The preamble contains the definition of the research’s terminology، including but not limited to the following terms: glossary، and corpus citing the differences between them، in addition to defining a specialized dictionary، all while comparing it to general dictionary in both nature of both books and usage.
First study point: It revolves around indicating all necessary procedures and requirements needed to establish a specialized grammatical dictionary.
Second study point: Citing the linguistic glossaries’ role in selecting references of the specialized grammatical dictionary
A conclusion that deals with the most important findings of the research، and then a list of sources and references.
