Positive behavior skills of high school students and it,s relationship to violence and academic performance

Abstract

The research aimed to uncover the relationship of both positive behavior and violence among a sample of high school students, as well as to uncover the relationship between positive behavior skills and the academic performance of high school students, and to reveal the extent of the difference in behavior. Positive and violence at different social, economic and cultural levels.
The research included a sample of (300) male and female students from the first grade of secondary school at Hasan Kalboush Joint Secondary School in K.F.S.
The researcher used the positive behavior skills scale for high school students, the violence scale for high school students, and the cultural and social level questionnaire.
The results, strong negative correlation statistically significant between the responses of the sample individuals on the positive behavior skills scale, and their responses on both the violence scale and their responses to the academic achievement scores as a whole and their responses to the socio-cultural level questionnaire, and the presence of a statistically significant negative correlation between the responses of the sample individuals on the violence scale and their dimensions and their responses to the social level questionnaire And the cultural, and the existence of a positive correlational relationship statistically significant between the responses of the sample members to the academic performance scale and their responses to the social and cultural level questionnaire.
