Program Based upon the Theory of Brain-Based Learning for Developing Literary appreciation Skills and Creative Writing for the First Year Secondary Students.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of Program Based upon The Theory of Brain-Based Learning for Developing Literary appreciation Skills and Creative Writing for the First Year Secondary Students. to this aim, the researcher has developed the following experimental processing tools: A List of Literary appreciation Skills. A List of creative writing skills, Setting a program based upon Brain-based learning, students' work sheets, and teacher's guide, A Literary appreciation skills Test student, and A creative writing skills Test( Designing this research depended on one experimental group. So the sample research included of (40) students of first year secondary students. The researcher did a Pre application to test the Literary appreciation skills, and creative writing skills (Pre-application), then taught the group of these students included in the research according to the on the brain-based learning program in the second term of the year( 2020-2021).Then they were tested again( post application) The results of the two applications have shown the presence of same statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students included in the research in both Pre and post application of Literary appreciation skills and creative writing skills. This asserts the effectiveness of the program in developing the literary appreciation and creative writing skills, some recommendations and suggestions have been made in the light of the research results.
