Abstract

The title of the research is “The geographical distribution of terrorist crimes in Egypt, a geographical study” The objectives of the research are to determine the general geographical distribution of terrorist crimes in Egypt and determine the relative distribution on the governorates most exposed to terrorist attacks, and concludes with an analysis of the locations and locations of terrorist operations.
Through the descriptive and regional analytical approach, the student relies on studying and processing data according to what is available and commenting on it, in addition to using the cartographic method where maps and graphs vary in quality according to distribution methods and using the ARC-GIS.13.2 program and the SPSS statistical analysis program.
In order to be able to know the reasons for selecting terrorist elements for the locations of their crimes to support decision-makers by setting the optimal strategic planning in combating terrorist operations in the future, and answering: What are the strengths and weaknesses of those terrorist operations?
Where the researcher answered that the distinguishing feature of the map of terrorism in the border provinces is that it consists of multiple cells and differs among themselves in terms of their ability to survive for a long time in the face of the state’s control policies, and therefore it is difficult to talk about the existence of a single cell, as there is a strong dynamic in this map < /p>
