This study seeks to identify the semantic characteristics of contemporary Egyptian colloquialism through television talk shows. The Egyptian colloquialism, and the study benefits from previous works that monitored semantic changes and the semantic characteristics of the Egyptian colloquial and its features, but it is concerned with monitoring the hadith that developed with the factor of time and social variables. The study seeks to identify the following elements: Monitoring semantic characteristics in the Egyptian vernacular through an interactive communicative model represented in television talk shows, revealing modern semantic phenomena in the Egyptian colloquial dialect, observing semantic phenomena and characteristics, in addition to the original fixed characteristics monitored by previous studies. Centuries ago, and still represent the distinctive phenomena of the Egyptian vernacular.I chose to study Arabic dialects as a branch of applied linguistics, and I found in it a fertile field for making multiple contributions that fill large gaps in the Arabic library.
