Abstract

the aim of the research is to reveal the effectiveness of the project’s learning strategy in developing critical thinking for learning mathematics among primary school students, the research group consisted of (96) female students of the fifth grade of primary school in Cairo Governorate, which were divided equally into two groups, one experimental and the other controlling, the strength of each of them (48). The research tools were represented in a critical thinking test in mathematics, and the critical thinking test was applied before and after on the research group, and the results of the research resulted in a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.01) between The mean scores of the students of the experimental and control groups in the post application of the critical thinking test in favor of the experimental group, as well as the presence of a statistically significant difference at the significance level (0.01) between the mean scores of the students of the two experimental groups in the two applications in the post applications of the critical thinking test in favor of the post application. Project-based learning is effective in developing critical thinking with different skills.as well as on those with special abilities and talents, as well as training teachers to use it in teaching mathematics at various educational level and proposals put.
