Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the impact of the use of the five-step learning cycle (5E,S) enhanced by infographics in teaching science on the development of visual thinking among first-grade preparatory students, and The researcher followed the experimental approach, quasi-experimental design,The study group consisted of (60) female students who were selected from the two institutes (Fatayat Al-Mustaqbal and Girls of Al-Janain) affiliated to the central administration in Al-Azhar, Suez Governorate, in the second semester of the year 2020/2021, They were divided into two groups: an experimental group comprising (30) female students who studied two units (chemical reactions, earth and the universe) using the five-step learning cycle enhanced by infographics, and a control group comprising (30) female students who studied two units (chemical reactions, earth and the universe) using by the traditional way, To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher prepared the study tool, which consisted of testing visual thinking for the skills (reading the visual form - analyzing information (details) - deducing meaning - realizing relationships), the results of the study have found that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (01.0 ≥ α) between the average scores of the students of the experimental and control group in post application of the visual thinking test in favor of the experimental group.
