Abstract The study aimed to identify the relationship between visual perception and reading skills of pre-school children and children aged between (4 and a half to 6 years) from Ideovate Academy Nursery in Hadayek El-Kobba, Cairo. The children's IQ ranged from (90 and above) to The intelligence scale, and the researcher used the pre-school child’s visual perception skills scale, prepared by: Laila Saeed Al-Juhani and Najla Al-Sayed Ali Al-Zahar (2015). And a scale of reading skills for a kindergarten child, prepared by: Amani Abdel-Fattah (2012). Stanford IQ Scale The Fifth Image Structure Codification Dr. Safwat Farag. The results reached a statistical study between the degree of cognition skills and reading skills a sample of pre-school children, there is no statistically significant at the level of significance between the average scores of females on the reading skills scale, there is no statistically significant relationship between the average meals and females on the scale of visual perception.
