Time Management SKILLS Training and lmpact on Reducing the Level of Academic Procrastination and Improving Academic Self_effectiveness

Abstract

The present study aim at exploring the extent of developing time management skills. And its role in reducing academic procrastination and improving academic self-effectiveness among secondary stage female students.To achieve the objective of the study . the researcher uses the experimental approach since it fits the objectivesof the researchas well as the researcher question .The main sample of the study consist of (100) female students who are registered at al –Areesh Secondary School. Different scales have been applied :these are the academic procrastination scale. The academic self – effectiveness scale . the family economic,social. And cultural level scale (prepared by Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim Saaffan and Doaa Mohamed Hassan Khatab . 2016) .in addition to applying the program based on time management skills to reduce academic procrastination . some fandings have been reached out ;the most of important of which are the reduction of academic procrastination and the improvement of academic self- effectiveness among the members of the experimental group after being exposed to the program used in the research. In addition . there are no statistically significant differences In the academic self-effectivenss among the members of the experimental group between the post- measure measurement and the tracing – measurement . and there are no stetistically significant differences in the level of the academic procrastination among them between the post – measurement and the tracing – measuiement .According to the findings of the research . some recommendations for future research have been suggestied
