Abstract

The Free Officers Movement Was founded by Gamal Abdel Nasser, which enabled him to break out an important revolution that changed the course of history and became the leader of the Arab Nation. This did not happen accidentally, as he prepared himself for this role since young age; Abdel Nasser was not an ordinary student; he was deeply interested in reading, especially history books and autobiographies of great personalities who were the reason behind the development of their countries. Through readings, he realized the procedure followed by each one of them to serve his country. Abdel Nasser was also impressed by the Western as well as the Arabic thoughts of authors as well as persons he read about. Which enabled him to achieve a lot of improvements for Egypt. As they did for their natal lands. He actually worked to help his country get rid of occupation and achieve freedom and independence on one hand, and to advance on both economic and social levels, on the other. Due to his alert consciousness, he believed that Egypt's independence will remain incomplete if the Arab countries did not attain theirs too; that is why he supported national freedom movements.
