Abstract

This research aimed to build an enrichment program in game theory based on blended learning and measure it,s effectiveness for developing mathematical self-concept for secondary school talented students, To check the validity of the researrch,s hypothesis, used the experimental approach with semi- experimental design for one group, and two game theory units which represented the content of the enrichment program were appplied.

The research included experimental tools represented in (List of basics for building the enrichment program in game theory based on blended learning, List of concepts and generalizations of game theory suggested to be included in the the enrichment program, The proposed concept for the enrichment program in game theory based on blended learning, Talented student's handbook in the enrichment program in game theory based on blended learning, Teacher's Guide for teaching the enrichment program topics in game theory based on blended learning), as well as the measuring tool of Mathematical self-concept scale for talented students in the 11th grade-science.The research sample consisted of (34) talented student from 11th scientic grade(section/2) from Arafat,s talented secondary school for girls, in the second semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. The research results indicated the effectiveness of the enrichment program in game theory based on blended learning for developing mathematical self-concept for secondary school talented students, where a statistically significant difference was found at a level of significance (0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental group in the (pre and post) applications for mathematical self-concept, in favor of the post application.
