Abstract

The current research aimed to reveal the requirements for employing smart glasses technology based on artificial intelligence to develop basic skills and concepts for people with visual disabilities in general education, and to achieve the objectives of the research, the descriptive approach was used, and the study sample consisted of (15) female teachers with disabilities. Visual disability in the Bisha region, and the research tool was represented in a questionnaire consisting of four main axes, and after verifying its validity and stability, the most important results of the research came that the arithmetic averages of the paragraphs of the second axis: the arithmetic averages of the paragraphs of the first axis: the reality of using smart glasses technology in the development of The basic skills and concepts of the visually impaired ranged between (4.825) as a maximum, and (4.084) as a minimum, and the general average came in at (4,441) and it falls under a very appropriate response level, while in the second axis: the challenges that impede the use of smart glasses technology Glass based on artificial intelligence for the development of basic skills and concepts ranged between (4,354) as a maximum, and (3.510) as a minimum, In light of this, the research presented a number of recommendations and proposals, including: attention to providing the needs of the visually impaired in laboratories and technological innovations, and interest in developing training programs in the use of smart glasses technology and the developments of those innovations periodically.
