Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the dimensions of the role played by tourism websites in promoting tourism by identifying the role of the EgGate website," Egyptian Global Gate",in knowing The Egyptian public in the tourist and archaeological places in Egypt and the most important information about them, and monitoring the extent to which the public benefited from and participated in it. This study belongs to the descriptive researches, and the researcher relied on the current research in the application of her field study on the content analysis form for the site. The study resulted in the following results The results of the qualitative analysis of the site of the eg gate showed:The site aims to transfer all our tourist attractions to the world in different technological ways through which the tourist can roam within the tourist area through virtual reality in return for paying specific fees .In order to keep pace with the economic transformation and digitization of the state and support financial inclusion,”. The site provides the tourist with an electronic reservation program through which he can book the plane ticket, the hotel and the entire itinerary, as well as his visits to all archaeological sites.
