The Heterotopia in Afrah ALQoba novel “Study in literature of Sociology”
Abstract The recent study tried to address the relationship between the other space “Heterotopia”, which refers to transfromation the actual events to other space, in the “Afrah Al Qoba” novel and its relation to social context . The study depended on to modern theories: structuralism and post structuralism and post structuralism. It also depended on qualitative method to analysis the novel. The Novels revolves around a theater group in the 70s who discover that the characters in their new script are actually themselves and that the script reveals all their secrets The study emphasized on some findings: - The Space in not only physicals space, but it is a relational space. - The theater is considered as a “Heterotopia” on it, the society with its contradictions is empbodied. - The novel also has revealed those contradictions and referred to the values That exisited in the era 60s and 70s.
